The “Toad” Series features a drawing of a smiling toad wearing a hat and holding a cane. It was drawn in darkness by Adam Greenhalgh, and over the years it has become clear to him that the toad is his spirit animal.
Plato’s House likes mascots and the strange role they play in the image of a brand, like the Michelin Man. I especially like that a cartoon mascot can exist in both low and high culture. They are usually harmless, friendly cartoons, and in that respect, our Toad is no different.
